In the fourth quarter of 2024, the top-down games category on Android in the United Kingdom saw notable trends in downloads, revenue, and active users. Here’s a closer look at the performance of the top five applications, with data courtesy of Sensor Tower.

Block Blast! from HungryStudio experienced a robust increase in weekly downloads, starting at 64.3K in early October and peaking at 103.5K by the end of December. The game also saw a rise in weekly active users, growing from approximately 621K to over 1.28M by the end of the quarter.

Pokémon TCG Pocket - Card Game by The Pokémon Company launched mid-October and quickly gained traction. Weekly revenue surged to $484.8K in mid-December, while downloads peaked at 160.2K in late October. Active users increased steadily, reaching over 294K by the end of December.

Vita Mahjong from Vita Studio saw moderate weekly revenue, fluctuating slightly but ending the quarter at $377. Downloads remained consistent, with a slight decrease towards the end of the quarter. Active users showed a positive trend, rising from 177K to over 203K.

Zen Word® - Relax Puzzle Game by Oakever Games maintained stable weekly revenue, averaging around $6-7K. Downloads decreased gradually, from 29K in early October to 18.3K by the end of December. Active users saw fluctuations but ended the quarter at approximately 183K.

Whiteout Survival, published by Century Games PTE. LTD., experienced a varied revenue trend, ending December with $273.2K. Downloads showed a notable increase towards the end of the quarter, reaching 36.1K. Active users remained relatively stable, closing the quarter at 98.8K.
